In February 2016, members of the cast prepared for the play by participating in a four-day workshop led by Daniel Neiden and
Laura Gosheff. The workshop entailed a rigorous immersion in sensory work, mask work, improvisation, dance,
and various other exercises to help them identify with the emotional beats of the play.
